Quite true, the angle grinder saves a lot of time round the drop links.
NB if the threaded end of the links are as badly corroded as mine were you will require a an angle grinder to chop the bolt off. still, quite an easy job, just be careful!!

if origional droplinks have to way of holding to slacken nuts, I wonder how they were put on in the first place?
The noise under my front wheels only occurs when I’m driving slowly over bumps, are this is from the drop links? thank you.
