Rocky fish says:

But the oil feed and drain pipe to turbo are very common on blocking up on these engines shame cos good engines otherwise

Rocky fish says:

Best way to check is disconnect the injectors undo the bolt on turbo slighty turn it over and oil should spit out,

Mine is 2009 and the cat is identical but I was told mine has no dpf, I dread this, I blanked my egr with a plate, did not delete from ecu, that was about 6 months ago, recently it started cutting out I changed the mass airflow filter but still does it occasionally I think it might be a leaking gasket on two injectors, got the p4020 code but not sure if that's due to egr blanking I'm on 215000 miles

very good video awesome work it's very time consuming making a video while doing the job and explaining every nut and bolt. great stuff. i have 1.6 hdi Citroen c4. i think turbo is over raving when gears changed. what kind of problem is this. thank you in advance.

Gary shaw says:

cylinder head needs cleaning and valves cleaned and reseated and valve stem oil seals replaced…inlet manifold needs a deep clean as full of crud and carbon also egr pipe, egr valve…electro valve and its pipe need cleaning…if you dont do what i say your problems come back…i am doing my engine now, but i am fully stripping and rebuilding due to carbon build up everywhere…mine has 115k miles on it…you wont believe how dirty inside engines get courtesy of that damn egr valve…i recommend blanking the egr and taking your car to a ecu tuner and have the egr deleted from the system….doing this completely ends the carbon problem on all cars…also allways remove the small gauze filter in side the lower banjo bolt as this is the turbo killer aswell…even peugeot do this now…

I wanted to see the DPF cleaning!

Przemek AutoElektro says:

Hello my friend. That is common issue in 1.6 hdi/tdci engines. I do not want bode ill but this car can be back to You on the same problem. If so, then look under plastic valve cover. You probably find there a lot of carbon. If yes, then only option is to take out cylinder head and clean it in an ultrasonic cleaner.
