I have an 01 intrigue that's overheating and has a small leak but not enough to empty the whole tank, could that still be the manifold?

I took out the thermostat, and I did change the original fan an put in a next one but the main engine fan wasnt cutting on only the ac fan I had to run the fan direct for it to cut on but its still running hot, I change the water pump and radiator, I'm guessing it needs a head job…..

hey am having the same problem with my 2000 intrigue keep over heating but no leaks

Yolanda Sanderlin says:

hey I have s 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue… It is overheating as well.. I found out that one if the hoses on the top of the my expansion tank was broke. I have taken the tank off but I have a question. How do I remove and replace the hose that runs across the back of the motor?

Q Smith says:

I appreciate the advice. If you could post another video on the break down that would be koo too.

i have a similar situatuion, my mother has a 2001intrigue 3.5 & having overheating issues as well. i have not taken it apart like you did, but starting to think i might have too, if i cannot get it to cool down. I replaced the lower radiator hose, cuz it had a leak, did a radiator flush soon after, and got it checked, then replaced the water pump thinking that was the problem. For a cool week it was working fine thought i solved the issue….then it started to overheat again reaching high temp levels…..so i cahnged the thermostat afterwards, and still freaking overheating damn hooptiee!!!!!!
