I do need to know if anyone can tell me about the Vacuum line on the
transfer case cuz mine isn’t there…wtf… its just a hole so i need to
know what goes there? I am pretty sure my AWD isn’t working so I need to
find out the cause.

It took about 5 hours. I didnt have to remove the exhaust. Has seen in
video 2.

KillerFlyingFish says:

what was the problem with this tranny?

mischden says:

Then with about 30-36″ extension and swivel socket you can get up to the
top bolts. I will mention that this truck had tranny removed before by a
shop and I think they may have pounded in the floorboard some…

@Sarah Atashi Your welcome I guess! Thanks for the comment!

steveolow says:

sooo….. uhhh…… you didn’t explain how to get the top bolt out of the
transfer case. WTF!!!!

Sarah Atashi says:

Freaking epic thank you!!!!! I just did a transmission fluid change on my
1996 Chevy blazer and did got the bolts out of the linkage but couldn’t get
the one back on because I didn’t think you could remove it lol thanks again
🙂

alfa6989 says:

you just have to pull out the tranfer first it has 5 nuts then you gonna
have room to remove the two top bolt of the transmission when this one
falls a little bit keep in mine that you need a floor jack to hold it.

mischden says:

I just removed one of these and didn’t remove the transfer case, but I can
tell you it wasn’t very easy and it barely cleared the flywheel bolts. I
had to jack the engine up to tip it forward some. When I put it back in I
will defiantly do it in 2 parts. As for the top bolts, since we left the
transfer in we were able to put the cross member out and set the tail of it
on the torsion bar cross member.

Do you know if the transmission in this car will will work for a n s10 or
Sonoma?
