my dad has one of theres and i like it and im getting it in 2 years when i
turn 16 but ours has somthing wrong with the engine and when you floor it
it acts like its gonna die then it comes back to life
I got my 01′ Bravada for 1750 at an auction. However, my power windows
don’t work, neither does the radio. Got a check engine, and the 4×4 light
is on. Other than that, it seems to be a very nice little vehicle. Got it’s
quirks but no rust! I am super jealous of your radio though. Man I gotta
get that fixed.
My dad has a 97 gmc jimmy with the 4.3. Runs perfect except that it needs
some new hoses and stuff. Every old truck needs those they don’t last
forever haha. It has around 110k on it. He doesn’t drive it everywhere
though so it lasts longer. It will last forever
Heyy I just bought one of these for my girl. It pritty nice, makes me feel
like I’m rich haha But mine looks just like that other then the “nugget”
haha After I got it I cleaned it out. But mine has 118k miles on it and I
only paid $400 for it! You have to love the people who have no idea what
they have or how to fix it ha
@BikerAuto63 Very, very solid, indeed. I’ve seen so many of these 4.3L with
like 300k on them and no issues. One thing I’ve noticed with all of my 4.3s
was they’re such torque monsters, haha. This one wants to pop a wheelie of
a dead stop. Love these engines from GM.
@TheTerminator310 yeah they have good torque for a V6… There’s a lot of
full size GM trucks with those motors… In the big trucks they’re not
speed demons but they’re work horses.. 🙂
That’s a pretty nice deal. I drove my Aunt’s GMC Jimmy a few times and the
truck ran pretty well. That 4.3 is a pretty solid engine.

should have made a cadillac version lol.
it looks like you might need to replace the thermostat for your temp gauge.
It’s not that expensive I replaced mine in my 2001 blazer not to long ago
If you look at the 0-60 at the end of the video, it’s running dead on the
normal range there.
Nice Truck

@biglinc1 Haha, thanks. Yeah, they are great motors! I love the 4.3L
Vortec. Torquey too! It’s definitely nice.

Thinking about making my dad get one of these, to take the spot for his
Oldsmobile Delta eighty-eight.
i just got me an 06 Chevy Silverado with a 4.3… Good gas mileage
