I own a 2000 GLS. I really wanna drive an Intrigue that has a 3.8L just to
see the difference in acceleration. Also want to try a Gold Edition GL with
a 3.5L and the Aurora transmission.
I have 1999 Intrigue witht he same 3800 engine and there is no way going 40
MPH and running 1000 RPMs….what da! You have the highest trim level
included with the “GTS” option. My other Olds Intrigue is the smallerl
engine you mentioned….which is the 3.5L. This is called the
“Shortstar”…the mini Cadillac engine version.
Could you do review on a Tracker? Or do you already have one on your
channel?
My gas gauge has the same problem after a jump start. At first, I thought
it was a fuse problem but it may have to do the cluster. Cluster prices
aren’t bad but the labor is going is an arm and leg.
Ummm , good vid but you problably should edit out the license plate!! LOL
Love these cars! Such a smooth ride
He let his foot off the gas, that’s why it’s at 1000rpm. He was probably
going downhill that’s why he kept up the speed.
nice review. Only a couple of corrections. in 1998 the 3800 was the only
engine offered and it actually makes 240 lb-ft of torque. other than that.
good stuff!
Idk about you but I find this and all of the cars from around 95′-05′ made
by GM or Ford looked lifeless. The few old GM/Ford cars id drive would be
the Blazer, S10, F150, Tahoe, Suburban, and Cadillac STS. Good video!
thanks i was the one who requested it
If I happen to get my hands on one, sure.
Yep, with overdrive
Nice! Have a 1998 Intrigue myself and it´s a great ride. Don´t forget the
oil change (saw the warning). The previous owner of my Intrigue ignored the
warning light to long. The engine started knocking, the oil was like tar
and he sold it.
