Thanks! Gonna try this on my 71 442.
This is not true of a 68 or 69 model. On these models there is no face to remove. You would have to remove the entire dash pad to have full access, otherwise you must access the bulbs and speedometer cable from under the dash.

Can the speaker be replaced through the clock entrance? My speaker is blown or broke. I have 69 442

Excellent Short Cut ! much thanks ! (~);} I'll be using that ! others said – The speedo is being held in place by the speedo cable. Did you disconnect that? Typically you need to remove the clock or tach and reach through that hole to unclip the speedo cable from the back of the speedometer. Then the speedo should pull out. Also be aware that there is still a harness connector plugged into the back of the speedo, so be gentle when pulling it out.
You could put a hinge on that clock and face plate and hide a 6 pack back there. Great video!
