Remove DS right tire
Only Remove alt belt
Plug is Seized which you need disconnect line from uptop to completely remove it
Once its out the plug is a Bitch to get out , Ask me how i know ?
I did it yesterday!
Just did it on my 97 pathfinder it was pretty easy didnt have to take any other belt off or any other part just loosen the pully, loosen the tensioner, take the belt off, take the bottom cover off to get to the bottom bolt, take the top bolt off, unplug everything switch it out an reverse
Ok so I don’t really see the reason on why having to remove the other 2 belts for?

this doesnt fully explain. on a 2000 frontier you have to remove the radiator to get it out.
Removed all the belts? That’s a waste unless you’re just wanting to replace them.

definitely not for 01 pathfinder. completely different
My hands have a few new scars, but this helped a lot on my 02 Xterra. I recommend climbing into the wheel well and attacking it from the side for the sensor and cables.
Just FYI — I have a 1999 Pathfinder and it is in no way similar to this arrangement.
If possible, before loosening bolts on a slide-style bracket, mark where everything is (metal touches metal) so that you know where it should be when you go to put everything back together.
I have a 2002 frontier xe. I didn't have to remove all the belts just one of them from the fan. And while you're doing this you might as well change the oil and my oil filter was in the way when I got it out.
This was my first time doing a major repair but it helped having this.
