It was pretty bad. I think they did NOT know how to do it and instead of admitting that they didn’t know how to do it, they gave me a hard time.

vmaxx55 says:

the douchebaggery amongst the maxima crowd is disgusting…id say they’re worse than bmw ppl..

RSpi007 says:

Glad you found the video. The people on the Maxima forum were NOT helpful at all so I had to go at it in the dark. So many of them were so mean that I did not post a link to this on the site.

Thanks for sharing. Good job!

RSpi007 says:

It may be the pump they sold you. Does the steering feel bad or is it only the noise?

RSpi007 says:

No, same place I got the hose I used.

yellowgold901 says:

well i didnt buy the manufactor high pressure hose and ps pump. i got the duralast version from autozone. could this be an issue?

David J Matar says:

very helpfull thank you.

RSpi007 says:

Once you get the level right the bubbles should go away with just a little bit of use. You may have a damaged pump or rack.

RSpi007 says:

There could be a problem with the pump or rack. If you were running it low it may have been damaged.

yellowgold901 says:

Its the power steeting pump. When I opened thr resivour I saw bubbles. How can I get the air out of it

yellowgold901 says:

I had my steering pump and high pressure line hose replaced on an 08 maxima now its making a groaning nouse idle and turning. The lines are tight, fluid is fine, and everything so why is his noise be

RSpi007 says:

No, it will bleed itself real fast. Just check the fluid level after you drive it a little.

yellowgold901 says:

do we need to bleed the air out of the ps pump after this? if so how?
