My 2010 Altima 220K miles no issues when I sold it
I love sedans. Australia no longer makes the Holden Commodore or the Ford Falcon and the last few models were world class and tremendous value for money.
An American friend of mine who lived here 15 or so years ago wanted to take back to the US a Ford Falcon XR8 as he loved it and a US moto journalist tested an Falcon XR6 Turbo and closed the article, 'Thanks Ford, we now know what we are missing'.
Its a shame Sedans aren’t as popular I got a Mitsu Lancer gts from 2009 its got paddle shifters, sports suspension, 18" wheels and it runs great only thing that needed changing was the starter, exhaust, tpms, and the amp.
The duel sunroof is really cool for how old the car is
We have a 2006 G35 that we bought in '08 for $24k and it still runs fine at over 190k miles altho it does a funny gyration when you first start it up and get moving.
You have plenty of other sport sedans to purchase instead of a nissan with a cvt … camry v6 , 2015,2016 audi s4 ,340 i ,440i bmws , wrx subaru like everything is better than a nissan maxima v6 which performs like a 4 cylinder and has a cvt trans like cmon no one with a decent knowledge of cars would buy a nissan maxima nowdays
all i know is i drive a 2010 silverado 4.8L and have put 1.5k km on since i got it at 267k and for the big fuss that people make about them i havent had many issues with it only engine problem i had was caused by the coolant sensor connector breaking but that was 10$ and a 5 minute fix have put 2k in it but thats due to breaks and tires

Nissan can go Bankrupt.. Trucks are great but other than that.. no.
Not buying sedans; or, Not buying CVT ? I always liked Nissan. I went Mazda specifically to avoid the CVT. Will also go Toyota or Lexus.
Not too long ago, Nissan ended production of the Cima and Fuga, meaning any hopes of the Infiniti Q70 and Q70L returning in the U.S. are forever lost. It also leaves the Skyline (Infiniti Q50) as the only standard sedan in Nissan's lineup.
I had a 2016 with 178K original CVT but it did throw a code around 46k firmware fixed the issue!!

You're giving this car a lot of credit, but have you looked into a 2011-2015 Optima?
Way better price-per-performance deal, way better price-per-luxury deal. Over all, more reliable, faster, and classier car for a lower price. I have a heavily modded 400whp (at 28+ PSI) Kia Optima 2014 SXL Turbo, would be more than happy to show it to ya on my way through the easy coast..

Still have my 2002 maxima gle.. best car I ever owned
