You got lucky with the cracked rad. Getting it hot enough to crack the rad
and not warping a head is not too common

Good work! I kind of dread the day that I have to do a rad change or a hose
/ coolant change on my car. Over 13 quarts and a somewhat involved bleeding
procedure if you want to be thorough.

Oh, if you guys ever need to get replacement clips and whatnot, there’s
this website: http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/

I’ve used them to get some clips and rubber caps. You can follow the
manufacturer name or, if you can’t find it, just look at the general
categories and check the measurements. They seem to have everything ever
made.

Great fix Greg, Dealerships… I have yet to find one that I would trust to
work on a tricycle let alone my car. Shame that its that way but it sure
seems to be.
