Maybe this will bring the car prices down!!! lol I seen that the DOT came out and said theyre going to raise interest rates again, how soon till were in a reccession? Is it a good time to buy a brand new vehicle or a used vehicle during a recession? Im young so am not sure. Should i wait for the recession to be over?

DO NOT BUY A NISSAN!!! MY NISSAN VERSA TRANSMISSION STARTED TO STALL AT FIRST AFTER A LITTLE OVER 70K, THEN I FOUND OUT THROUGH RESEARCH THAT 2015 NISSAN VERSA 4DR. HATCHBACK TRANSMISSION HAS A SET AMOUNT OF 70+ THOUSAND BEFORE THE METALLIC LINK OR AMTR OR AUTOMATIC METALLIC LINK CHAIN BELT TRANSMISSION BREAKS. I TOOK IT DOWN TO THE DEALER WITH THE WARRANTY AND WAS INTIMIDATED BY THE ASSISTANT MANAGER INTO LEAVING AND DID NOT ACCEPT THE WARRANTY. A FEW MONTHS LATER SINCE IT HAD BEEN JUST SITTING IN MY DRIVEWAY OR GARAGE, WHILE I KEPT TRYING TO TALK TO SOMEBODY AT NISSAN OF NORTH AMERICA WHO KNEW OR IN CHARGE OF SOMETHING, FINALLY AN INDIAN CUSTOMER SERVICE REP. FOR NISSAN OF AMERICA TOLD ME TO TAKE IT TO THE NEAREST DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTICS AND WAS CHARGED $200 TO FIND OUT SOMETHING THAT WAS ALREADY OBVIOUS WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT. I EXPLAINED TO ONE CUSTOMER REP. AFTER ANOTHER AND NONE CAN HELP. SO, I KEPT WASTING MY TIME AND EVERYONE I SPOKE KNEW NOTHING ABOUT WHAT NISSAN IS DOING OR WHAT NISSAN IS SELLING. FAULTY RWNAULT TRANSMISSIONS WITH ITS METALLIC TRANSMISSION BELTS DESIGNED TO BREAK AFTER OVER 70K. SO IT WAS ALL SET UP TO ALREADY BREAK. SO WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY $200 TO HAVE A VERSA DIAGNOSED WHEN WE ALL KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT. WE EVEN ALMOST CRASHED IN A BUSY FREEWAY DURING THE HOLIDAYS IN DECEMBER WITH IT WHEN IT STALLED. THE HOLIDAYS AND ALMOST DIED I TOLD NISSAN, AND ALL NISSAN WANTED TO DO WAS AVOID IT'S CONSUMER RESPONSIBILITIES. THAT 2015 NISSAN VERSA IS A DEATH TRAP. SO, FINALLY I SPOKE WITH THEIR NISSAN OF NORTH AMERICA ATTORNEY, AND HE SAID IT IS ALL MY FAULT, BECAUSE I DO NOT TAKE IT FOR IT'S NORMAL MAINTENANCE. MAINTAINING SOMETHING THAT WILL BREAK AFTER 70K IS POINTLESS!!! WHY BOTHER AT ALL? TO THIS DAY IT IS JUST SITTING THERE IN MY DRIVEWAY AND I JUST START THE ENGINE EVERY WEEK SO THE BATTERY DOES NOT DIE AND I JUST TAKE IT TO THE GAS STATION FOR GAS. WHAT A WASTE OF $20+K. SO, WORD TO THE WISE. ALSO, AS A POOR U.S. ARMY VETERAN WITH A WIFE AND 2 TEENS NOW, I PLAN TO TELL MY CONGRESSMAN ABOUT IT, AND AT LEAST GET SOME KIND OF COMPENSATION FOR IT.
Interesting fact that you mentioned about spark plugs and their electrical current. I can remember many spark plug commercials advertising all the improvements their plug had over the factory unit. You don’t see any commercials these days. Maybe this is one of the reasons.
I drove a v6 2021 Nissan Frontier SL as my work truck and I loved that truck. That thing looked cheap, felt cheap, and was cheap.
But it was fun as hell to drive it around in manual shifting mode, I drove that pickup truck like a sports car, and even managed to drift it three times by accident…
Transfered to another store, I miss that truck lol

This is exactly the fear of electric cars they have not considered, they are too quick with all that torque, plus the weight makes them deadly to others.
My mechanic told me he’s been getting a large amount of calls regarding the Nissan sentra 2013 CVT’s going bad on a daily basis. The transmission repair guy he referred me to said the same thing that at least 15 calls a day. Never a Nissan again!!!!
All those companies got big and popular by making relatively good inexpensive cars,so did all Japanese and Korean car manufacturers . Now all those companies are pulling away from winning formula, they make large expensive cars and are wondering how come they are loosing market share.

Nissan should go back to being Datsun! Make a new stripped down basic mini-Truck for the American market and bring the real Z cars back! I think an early 1970's 240 or 260 looking EV would be cool.
I've owned a 2012 sentra since 2016, I drive it everyday to work very conservatively and do all maintenance. Only thing that has needed to be replaced is battery, brakes, and the front shocks. Still runs perfect
here's my opinion regarding the enginerebuild on the mitsubishi… in the era where you almost need a mortgage to buy a car… trust me , an engine rebuilt does sound a lot more attrative and "doesnt cost too much", going to have to stop saying that its not worth it because unfortunately…. it is.
I believe The 4 Cars That you should buy Now are, Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Subaru. I own a Toyota and a Mazda.
