Faiyah A says:

All though I don’t see smoke, I do have a burning smell from time to time and especially at stops. By any reason could this be the solution?

Trendo LLC says:

PLEASS READ FOR SMOKE AT START UP only.
IT'S YOU PCV VALVES PROBLEM SOLVED.
If your car sits for a while then you start it up and it's a cloud of white gray smoke and you can smell burning oil. Then you put a quart of oil in there every few hundred miles?
I had the same exact problem and the dealership told me that it was the gasket around the spark plugs which are "not serviceable" it is impossible for oil to get in your spark plugs unless your spark plug is loose.
Buying a new valve cover will fix your problem because the new valve covers comes with new PCV valves on them. The covers are plastic and it looks like you cannot take off the valve but you can and it's extremely easy you can do it with a cheap player of pliers. It's a reason why it's a hex screw on the valve cover. Use your pliers to remove the clamp then pull the hose and use your pliers again to unscrew that hex screw. Screw your new valve on and connect the tube and clamp back. Once I did that it stop smoking immediately.f your vehicle smokes when you start it up

J. Daniel Christiansen says:

So is the PCV valve integrated into the new valve cover gasket?

john doe says:

Is it the 5.6 liter?

Sam Naghoon says:

Great video. I will have to do it on my 05 Armada very soon. Thanks so much.

Foust Mob says:

I have a Nissan Titan 08 that smokes for like 10 seconds only at ignition. Then it clears up. The truck drives great an the issue does not affect mileage. Do you think this video is the most likely solution for this issue?

kamal jurdi says:

Am Having issue with grey color smoke at start up only in the morning for Nissan Armada SE 2013 GCC specs, have changed 2 pcv valves, done engine oil flush by liqui Moly using now origin Nissan 5W30 engine oil for a while smoke has been vanished but after like 20 days it appeared from time to time? the question is it harmful if i did not change the valve covers? i mean such smoke may damage o2 sensors or catalytic converter ?? am not losing engine oil am not losing coolant am not losing engine torque or even a poor fuel millage ? thx

Hey man, great video! quick question, as far as the silicone goes, (the right stuff) do I need to put it in all 4 corners, or just the 2 corners towards the front of the engine? Thank you for helping others save money, while doing it the right way!

Wow! Replacing the entire valve cover just to do gaskets and seals? That is some bull shit on Nissan's part.
