I do appreciate how you repeatedly say “Without a fight.” It let’s me know
that if something is hard to put back on, it probably doesn’t go there. 🙂
Well, for some cars, in this case, the older Sentra, the center cap and
those lug nuts, bearings and the drum is one peice. In that case it is
indeed necessary to remove the center cap, remove the nut in the middle.
Then the whole thing is suppost to come out, leaving the bare spindle with
grease on it. The bearings in this case is located on the drum itself. This
is the case with some cars
Did I say “real easy”? I never said that. Its real easy to remove the drum
off the brake, Not the whole job. Obviously you are very new at brakes.
Sorry that It is HARD to “catch” a lesson right away at first….. Delete?
Oh YEAH Ill delete, Ill delete you
Hmm, I probably had an older Sentra in mind when I made that comment. I’m
trying to remove the brake drum cover off my ’06 Nissan Sentra, but it’s
incredibly difficult to remove. I haven’t tried screwing two screws in the
beveled holes on the drum cover because I don’t have screws on hand; is
there another easier way to remove the cover? I removed the center spindle
/ cap and unscrewed the bolt that was underneath it which clearly I didn’t
need to do according to you.

This entire process would’ve been much easier had you removed the center
cap and brake drum in the first place.
dude I had to replace my wheel studs on my wifes 2000 sentra. I was
befuddled because i had never did the rear wheel before. Your video SAVED
ME!!

Great vid. the adjusting portion at the end saved me.

I think I DID that already on :10. Or are you talking about the spindle?
Its NOT neccesary to do that here!
