What’s the point of the shooting?

J GRM says:

One more thing, in lieu of screw driver I used a C clamps to decompress the piston.

J GRM says:

Thanks. I had mine done yesterday and by myself with ease. Thanks to you, I saved myself $334 from crooks at Priority Nissan in Chester Virginia. I only spent $34 for pads, $1,.29 for break grease and $3.45 for break cleaner

Oh ok, well that’s good, as long as you like it :). Thanks and, Happy Thanksgiving

James Johnson says:

ah yeah the one I have is the screw kind. It works really well and I like it.

HondaHowTo1 says:

Yes they do, that squeasey handle gun trigger looking thing. I don’t like those, and I used em alot, but lots of people do like em; that’s why they make em and sell em. I like using the c clamp if anything. Thanks for commenting.

James Johnson says:

They make a special tool for compressing brake pistons. It works really really well and it makes the job really easy! I think I only paid like 10 bucks for it. I say it’s worth it.

HondaHowTo1 says:

Whoever balanced them the first time did a better job.

PeterGriffin4200 says:

Today I just had the tires high speed balanced but vibrations got worse, I also changed the brake pads and turned the rotors. Why would vibrations get worse then before even after balanceing yet again?

HondaHowTo1 says:

No bad rotors would not cause that. It could be tires that are out of round or bad wheels, but those are pretty uncommon.

PeterGriffin4200 says:

Do bad rotors cause slight highway vibrations above 70mph even when not pushing the brake pedal? I have had my tires balanced many times with no luck
