Thank you!

He’s completely right about bringing the bulb into the shop, btw. Easier for you and for the shop clerks.

Also: don’t handle them if you had them running recently! They get very hot very quick, and I burnt my finger a bit.

Very helpful. Thanks for the tip on not having to remove all the trim and just take those two tabs out. Was much faster and totally doable with the amount of space.

You are not supposed to touch the oil with the hand because it has bulbs.

Thanks this video is helpful

@ckcrushton says:

Why on earth are you touching the bulb with your fingers????? Please if you’re watching this to learn how DO NOT TOUCH THE BULB WITH YOUR FINGERS! Use gloves.

@scotthritz6641 says:

Never touch the actual bulb with your hands because it shortens the life of the bulb.

@Razorphil says:

I see there are concerns about if you should touch the new bulb with your bare hands. No, you should not. There is proof at every brands website, or you can google it. Here is one of those examples quoted from google. If you touch the bulb with your fingers, the salts and oils from your skin will damage the bulb and cause the heat to concentrate. This can significantly reduce the life of the bulb or even worse cause it to shatter. For this reason most halogen capsule bulbs that you buy will be sealed in plastic inside the box. Note: This video was very helpful, as I always check video's so I don't have to fight with removing an old bulb. So thank you very much for this very informative video 🙂 Subscribed and thumbs up.
