I have a 2019 rogue sport like everyone had a very tough time to install it even watching videos, but there's a tricky part that almost nobody talks about it, if you touch the path where the filter slides on the bottom part there's a step up, once you have the bottom part up to the step just slide it a bit on top then on bottom and so on and it goes in easy.

This video was helpful so thank you. Now after having done this I get why there are so many edits in this video. Getting that filter in is really freaking hard! So annoying. Nissan for sure could have done better design on this.

Erdie5 says:

Says in the manual to pinch the filter in the middle into an hourglass shape, insert one corner then sort of roll it inside. Hard to describe, but does go in easily if you do it.

That said, my old Elantra gt, came straight out, went straight in.

Arnold Vollmoeller Sr. says:

This is crazy……..bend the crap out of it……

Mike Adonis says:

Leave it to Nissan to make something easy like a cabin filter so stupid.

I changed my Girlfriend's Many Thanks !!!

punk rock says:

why do some videos show its on the other side? WTF is going on here?

Flipside Shock says:

Will a bad filter cause the AC to not work or switch from inside air to outside air automatically?

Jim white says:

Nissan did not design a user friendly filter location to replace – but as they say in the engineering field what looks great on the white board is good enough for us

Jay G says:

Now I know why the sound is turned off during the installation. Not so easy the first time.

N M says:

The sucks, how could be so difficult to do that? I think they did it in purpose to make you go to a dealer and charge you
