I was wondering how do reset a 04 tittan sterio??

Technologic says:

@PUNKAZZBEACH ive had some of the same issues with my 04 with just the
tweeters going out (i would just hit the side of the head unit with my hand
until it gets working again) —-best buy sucks get your information from a
car audio specific store/installer—- … im trying to figure out how to
put an aftermarket head unit in there… ive found the dash kit which you
take the plastic panel off where the CD/Tape deck is and remove the deck
and panel and install the dash kit

BRANDON85L says:

@nandiito I already am! 🙂

escondidos760 says:

Collin Gray says:

hey im having issues with the buttons that control the radio and the a/c
some will work and some wont (over half will not). should i replace that
entire piece or something else?…2004 Maxima

Technologic says:

@PUNKAZZBEACH they have aftermarket head units that have a connection, and
you can buy the module seperately that allows you to connect the steering
wheel controls to the head unit

BRANDON85L says:

9 car radio theives liked this video

Technologic says:

@PUNKAZZBEACH go on sonic electronix and look up Sony MEX-BT3900U to
connect the audio output from it to the current bose system get the PAC
ROEM-NIS2 (amazon has the best price on this) Steering wheel control module
is linked in the description of the head unit it is the PAC SWI-PSv1
compatible with nissan maximas 2001-2005

nandiito says:

@BRANDON85L haha cool..

HiTechElectronic says:

Just unplug the ground terminal of the battery in the car for five minutes.

thatsmartguyjeff says:

I was just thinking that… They know how to do almost everything!!!

Technologic says:

@PUNKAZZBEACH people have said that when you put a quality aftermarket head
unit it makes the bose system sound much better

hmr1979 says:

you rock, thanks for this

backander says:

i have a 2004 maxima and i was trying to figure out how to change the light

planning on becoming one of us.

PUNKAZZBEACH says:

@wow1022 idk im a type of guy that likes to keep the car stock.nothings
better than bose. but if you can can you tell me the specific names of the
head units that can connect to the steering wheel plz.

Technologic says:

@Hatinonthehaters i have an 04 with 58,000 miles, the transmission is fine

phuckoff mmkay says:

PUNKAZZBEACH says:

Can anyone HELP ME PLZ!!!! i have a factory bose radio on my 2005 maxima
just like the one in this video. everytime i put it on cd and i hit a bump
the speakers go out and when i hit another bump it goes back in. same when
i accelerate hard or brake hard. ive been to best buy and nissan and they
said it was broken and to buy a new one. any one help?

DGrassE says:

im having an issue where my navi resets every time i turn the car off. i
took it to Nissan n that said my navi needs to be replaced because they
believe its wire shortage also my navi doesnt tell me when to turn…
should i get it replaced or could it be fixed?

Technologic says:

@PUNKAZZBEACH the dash kit gives you a place to put the aftermarket head
unit which i believe is called a DIN… all i need to figure out is how to
connect the aftermarket unit into the bose system… i think i found the
specific wiring harness from sonic electronics (it says for 1995 and up
nissan/infinity models and a review said it worked for the 350z bose
system) if you want to know what the dash kit and wiring harnessare message
me(i haven’tinstalledallthis so im notpositive)

Kevin Ross says:

im trying to attach an ipod interface to my 2004 maxima as well and i dont
know where to start!!!! any help??

HiTechElectronic says:

Your unit is repairable and you could send it to us for repair or take it
to any service center near you.

Devin Lauderdale says:

The white box behind the controls is generally what causes all of your
problems with its “coin slot” that gets coins stuck in it that fries the
circuitry.

Juan Derful says:

Hey .. thanks for the video. Was able to attach an ipod interface thanks to
this very helpful and detailed video. Thanks a bunch !

HiTechElectronic says:

You need to have your car checked out since it could be caused by radio,
control panel or steering wheel control.

HiTechElectronic says:

I am sorry we do not have that video.

marlon arroyo says:

Is there a gps dvd sustem for the nissan maxima se 2004 !! I’d llike to
change it please help

LaMar Young says:

You just saved me $75 !!! Thank you so much for posting !!!

phuckoff mmkay says:

do not buy 04/05 maxima. faulty transmission, no recalls.

PUNKAZZBEACH says:

plus the guy from best buy even told me its not the best idea because once
you install the after market radio non of the steering wheel buttons work
so it be like a normal car from the 90s. i have been everywhere else too
and they say we don’t fix factory radios. so the best idea is to buy a new
factory Bose radio that cost $400. i don’t have the money to buy a $400
radio so the car has to stay that way until i get enough money. its been
6months already since it broke and probably reach a year.

PUNKAZZBEACH says:

@wow1022 yeah same here. i hit it when it goes off and it gets fixed but
then a couple minutes later it goes off again so i don’t think its an good
idea to hit it. its only a temporary minute fix. been to best buy and there
useless. all they say is buy a after market radio from them and they will
install it but you there’s nothing better than Bose!

Shahrukh Iqbal says:

is there a video for taking apart the stick shift for the manual maxima
