I got them changed out but didnt have to remove anything other than the
shock/spring.. I did have to rent the spring tool. Thanks again for posting
Did you have a hard time removing the Hex nut from the lower shock bolt? I
tried taking mine off with a breaker bar and it would not loosen. :/ I
probably going to find a impact wrench with around 300 ft lbs torque and
heat up the nut and pray that works. If that fails I’m contemplating
splitting the nut. I’ve already ordered new bolts&nuts to replace the old
once just in case. It’s so annoying because I got stuck at that point.

Dude you need to take the sway bar bolt off and the shock will literally
fall out almost
The nuts on both side did not cause too much trouble for me. I used some
break cleaner and wd-40 on some parts to help them along. I live in a rust
free state but don’t know if that could be your issue. The only issue I had
was sliding the shock out and in but I think I explained that part a bit on
the video.
If you loosen (loosen not remove) the shock/coilover top nut before removal
it makes things much easier to remove it completely once you have the
entire assembly out.
