You could try it that way and if something’s in your way remove it.

Unfortunately there is no valve at the bottom of the tank so removing the
pump is the only way to get the fluid out.
Can this be done without removing the filler neck or is that used to secure
the pump/grommet? Thanks. I didn’t notice you saying why to remove it.
Hi, good evening… I need to do this on a 2006 Chrysler Voyager… Do you
happen to know if the reservoir has a drain valve or something like that?
It was working perfectly, then went empty all of sudden, when I tried to
refill, I noticed it was leaking right at the bottom… I cant get a clear
view, but it seems there is a lip right where fluid comes out…
