Remove snapped turbo bolts can be a pain in the ass! :)
what happens if you break the intercooler is it bad? cos i went down a
driveway and hit the bottom and now my intercooler is bent in a bit and it
looks crooked. But the car still drives ok like i dont notice anything
different.

Im looking into buying a GtiR tomorrow and it has the original top mount
cooler, is it worth the upgrade to front? dont intend to boost bhp that
much, its pushing 300bhp now. thats enough for me, so is the upgrade worth
while?

its not just a turbo to think about. you need to do bunch of supporting
mods for a turbo set up. your teg would be better off with a clean all
motor build. but if you really want turbo stuff find some DSM guys you can
use a lot of their old stock fuel system parts and turbos to get you
started. you probably arnt going to want to run much more than 10 psi so
you dont need a crazy turbo.
no, air does not go inside the intercooler. it is simply like a big heat
sink for the air that is passing thru it cooling it down.

The Hotter A Gas Become The Less Of It Will Fit Per Unit Of Volume As The
Molecules Require More Room To Mosh About. The Inter Cooler Cools The Air
To “Shrink” It Back To As Close To Regular Density As Possible. Adding A
Turbo Forces More Air Into The Engine, A Inter Cooler Makes That Air Denser
i.e. Containing More Oxygen Per Unit Of Volume.

intercooler actualy do for the car? can automatic car’s be upgraded? some
say that computers inside should be tuned to match upgrades? is that true?
most street races are in a straight line nothing more.
Intercoolers are for all engines, they cool down the air charge and allow
more air into the engine because it’s denser due to the loss of heat.
Though, they do complement turbochargers and superchargers quite well as
the compression heats up the air.
get some of a GTI almera with the sr20de they should have the AD22VF
brakes…(which are the GTiR brakes)

Seems like no one ever wants to install a mesh grille/guard after they
install these. It looks tacky, but saves you $1200 investment from rocks
and stuff.
