Once again, another great video from dial2fast! Followed your steps and the wife's van now has working odometer and fuel gauge. I'd like to add that the air bag light was on after disconnecting the cluster but instructions for resetting can be found here:

Definitely wanted to thank you for such a detailed and informative video. Everything went well…well…after a 2nd attempt…
So the LCD basically reverted to its original form of unreadable information after my initial installation. I opened things back up and really heated the strip and pressed much more firmly than the first time. I held the iron on for roughly a minute and also moved from left to right until I felt comfortable to put things back together and things are working perfectly. I had this same problem on my 06 Quest.
I went the route of purchasing a new lcd screen with ribbon cable attached.
The toughest part for me was prying up the plastic shroud.
Once I got that off everything else was cake.

HEY! I have a question about the display going in and out . Some time the light display doesn;t show up for a whole day, so I have to make sure that I have gas in because some time the display goes and comes. Do you know what could cause this problem. Thanks.

Hello, great video.I did not mark the odometer needles place before removing it. What is the correct way to put it back? I tried placing it at zero but after a few cycles it starts at 5mph even if the vehicle is at full stop. One time I put it below zero and the speed was way off and vice versa. Can you advise please? thank you
