This whole Eng. and trance is a PISS POOR DESIGN from 2003 and running this
is purposely build in flaws in these pieces of Crap.
“Born free…” Ur a baritone. 😀
Why on earth did they put the neutral safety switch INSIDE the
transmission??? P.S. GREAT video Brian, keep em comin’!
@peektwice GOOD QUESTION! The reason is I like to practice what I’m about
to do with the new one on the old one. Otherwise you could totally just
scrap it.
@jcb1972 This design simplifies things in that it combines function kind of
like multi-tasking.
Could you just snip the wires and remove without all the difficulty? The
wires were probably routed that way for easy of assembly in the factory,
not for replacement. I am thinking just cut and remove, then zip tie the
new one along a similar path.
is the same for a Nissan sentra ser 2002 p1706?
How do you connect the new rocker mechanism?
@felipevinalay You’re welcome- glad you liked it.
@briansmobile1 Im sure i could send u one, although they are pretty plain
looking, but i could make u one with your name or whatever you like on
it:-) The pressed steel ones are nicer, but all of ours are that
laminate/perspex type now, but im sure someone here still makes the metal
ones.
Thanks for another great video Brian!
@roro560v8 I can’t say I’m an Altima fan, but MANY of my customers are.
More money for me! XD
Good job! Brian. Muchas Gracias.
@spelunkerd It does have a clutch switch too so you can start it in gear
with the clutch depressed.
I love the beard!
With a complex switch like that, you wouldn’t need a neutral safety switch.
Does it have a separate clutch switch to prevent starting in gear?
I had to replace that reverse switch on my 1995 Maxima awhile back. I did
end up breaking the brittle plastic case. But watching your video reminded
me of how I was going crazy trying to remove the old wire harness. I ended
up pulling the metal leads out of the plastic harness, and as a result did
not have to disconnect the mount. Not saying it was easier, but I had a lot
less tools and no garage back then. Love your videos! thanks. Max
I have heard it a revers light switch in my 1991 toyota camry factory
manual.
excellent video man 🙂 HELPED ME A LOT!
good.
@peektwice It’s to prevent it from getting SQASHED during
manufacturing/assembly and also to protect it later too.
yess i love your signing man the toyota vid and this one are my favourite
Great vid! Getting ready for Super Bowl?
just related to engine codes, on my truck, the check engine light comes on
every once in a great while, and it stays on for about 10-15 seconds, and
then it goes off. I tried checking for codes but I got none. the light
doesn’t blink, it just lights up. any ideas?
@Bonfield2002 The idea was 彼女が行っています!
Is this the same on an altima with an automatic transmission
i like ur VIDS BRO KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
@Goregoon Maybe….. or not.
Thank you!
I need to get a OBD2 reader for my TC,im sure il need it one day.
@gassolean It could use it!
Always a good information with no crap talk.I’d. say very professional.
Wrench on.
Man, what a pain.
@maxud28 Pretty creative. There’s often many ways to come to the same end.
You’re welcome.
@TrueBlueEG8 Good to know! I want an Ireland license plate! I’ll send you
some from the states for trade. I have lots of California, Idaho, and Utah
plates. ; )
