That makes no sense if he wanted to show that, then u let it idle. People
usually ap the gas when it IS “struggling to stay alive”

Trustthapo says:

He’s demonstrating that the car isn’t struggling to ‘stay alive’. Of course
you’re not supposed to do that when you start your car.

PRO50MUSTANGS says:

Are pressing the gas or is that the car revving like that on it’s own?

Basil Johnson says:

CHECK OUT THE ‘TSB” for nissan maxima, and out web sites that have
information about remote starters interfernece

“Trans and engine mating surfaces sanded, the stock ground was sanded, the
CPS (which one … aren’t there two?) was cleaned, the connections were all
cleaned (which would those be?), a ground was added — 4 ga wire added to
the 17mm bolt nearest the CPS …”

Crank shaft sensors!!! Preferred auto on hylan blvd in stated island ny
ripped me off, they couldn’t find the problem and had the car there for 8
days, they were guessing replacing spark plugs that I installed one week
prior, even tried convincing me that the ecu was broken.

Chris Hubatsek says:

I just had the same problem on a 01 maxima with hard starting. The fix for
me was just simply adding a 4 gauge wire from the negative battery cable to
one of the transmission mount bolts. Problem solved and starts perfectly
every time now.

this video i stupid. all he did was tell th viewers what he did. Why cant
he actually show the viewers.

Ronnybolt says:

Unbelievable! After researching this I did not believe that this was true.
Was I wrong. I ran a ground wire from my neg battery cable to a bolt on top
of the intake manifold. Holy Crap it worked! My car would sputter and
backfire and I was about to give up. I installed the 10 guage wire to the
throttle cable holder. After it started like new I just about collapsed.
I’ve been trying to figure this out for over a year. Try it, you won’t
believe it!

Basil Johnson says:

After market remote starters can cause a security light to be triggered
that won’t allow the car to start cause it think it’s being stolen. Check
to see if your security light turns on when you turn it on and over.

You talked to fast in the beginning, what did you do again? can ou put it
in the description? but from the forums i read it when its hot and or cold
when it has problems starting. im sure it would be an electrical ground
somewhere. also i dont have my maxima yet of course im researching them and
feel confident in buying one tomorrow. 1997 maxima gle. but if i have the
issues i will refrence back to your video. Also subscribe my channel.
