That guard repair is cringe I'm a panel beater by trade and that is horrible to watch really not that hard to cut it out and weld a new piece into it.

I understand it’s not ideal to put a fresh raptor coat out in the sun but if you don’t have access to a shed or garage is it possible to do the entire process in the driveway and still have it turn out good?

Dynamat is good stuff. I used a cheaper brand years ago for my sound system competition car called fatmat that was cheaper and did the same thing. If you are on a real budget check online for other brands for competitive pricing.
