They usually look at manufacturer maintenance schedule. But in my opinion
those maintenance intervals are too short…
Inside the car only. Usually you don’t need to change it very often. You’ll
have less air flow if the filer is clogged. Also, if you are alergic, it
would be good idea to change it on every scheduled interval, onther than
that – you’ll be OK to skip a few intervals.
and what happens if you don’t change it, is this filter related to the
engine or is it stricty for the inside of the car like an a/c filter for
your house?..
Would an oil shop normally check this? I went in the other day to get an
oil change and they said the cabin air filter needed to be changed and I
said id do it myself…. now I feel like they was trying to bs me
