Gave it a yoink and the plastic ripped right off
Your video was great, a big help. Thanks. Just changed mine. I don’t know what those dunderheads at Nissan were thinking, it was far more difficult to access and change than it should have been.
I had to take the glove box drawer out of the way to get to a screw before pulling the tab out and replacing the filter.
Я когда менял этот фильтр вспомнил всех родственников инженеров nissan
Thanks. Saved me 94$ for replacement and part. ❤
My new one disappeared and I can't grab it out of there anymore. Do you know how to get it out?
Your slight-of-hand edits over the difficult parts deprive your viewers of those parts they most need to see. Stupid design…shame on Nissan.
Thanks for this! I think I managed to do it right. When I tried to remove the old one, it was sideways. Guess it either wasn't installed correctly last time, or it worked it's way around. Quick question, though, I noticed some wetness when I stuck my hand in the slot without the filter. What could cause that?
Dumb engineering design. So much harder eith right hand drive vehicles where pedal in the way
Wow, what a SOB to get back in. Knew getting the old one out it was a matter of squishing get back in, but with a new one you are reluctant to shove too much. Getting into an hourglass shape, bottom 3/4 in while working the top in is a nice tip. Horrible design. But saved $100+.
ours doesn't look nothing like yours
What a crazy cluster of a design…
I think it's dumb that you've to squeeze the filter to fit it in, because if it doesn''t fully expand, there'll be a gap where most of the air (and whatever else) get into the cabin w/o filtering… Another dumb Nissan design.
This video was more helpful than the first one I watched. Got it done, thank you. I’m getting ready to do the one on my 2012 rogue now. The engine air filter design was much better on the older rogue so I hope that holds out for the cabin air filter. Much simpler to change on the older model.
Thank You for this Video
This video doesn’t tell you that you have to remove a screw to open the filter door.
Where is this located?
Great camera work. Thanks for making this look easy.
Use a swiffer handle to guide bottom in . Took me 5 minuter
Very well done. Thanks for taking the time to make this video. Great help
Get on with it yappin fkn yank
Is there a cover that goes over the filter area ?
Too much explaining
Well done. I like your approach. Just so everyone knows. There is another opening on the other side that you can remove to check that the folded filter sprung back to its normal shape.
Very uncomfortable to replace filters in Rogue
Toyota or Honda much better designed and easy to replace filters..
