I know my way around a car and truck. Not had formal training or anything.
This video put me on the right path for the repair and it was easy as cake.
I was pretty blown away how easy this was to do, This video really helped
get me in the right direction.
Thanks for this video. I watched 3 times and successfully switched my
right side passenger side window lift motor. It took me 60 minutes on my
2006 Armada LE.
Here is an answer to a very common problem reported to us. The problem is
that the window glass may not stay up after a brand new motor or regulator
was installed. Most all Nissan vehicles have a limit switch built into the
window motor. Anytime the window motor or regulator is replaced, the limit
switch must be relearned or reset. Here is a quick how to:
1. Locate the reset switch on the back of the window motor, it is on the
backside of the window motor.
2. Raise the glass top the top position.
3. While pressing and holding the reset switch, lower the glass to the
bottom position.
4. Release the rest switch.
5. Verify the window no operates properly. If not repeat the procedure.
