This vid hot me pointed in the right direction. The L bracket mentioned in the comments actually holds the coolant overflow tank not the washer fluid. Although the washer fluid filler neck is right in front of the coolant tank, I can see why some thought it was the washer fluid tank. All I did was take off the L bracket, two easily accessed 10mm bolts. That’s all I took off and it was easy for me to get the the bulb connector ten.
Hi idennis75; Thanks for this video. Especially the tip at the end about removing the filler spout. As Erica mentions, removing the L-bracket that holds the wiper fluid tank provides even more room to get to the bulb connector. The wire that connects the low beam bulb was a little short so I had to feel around for the release. After releasing the connector I could turn the bulb a full 90 degreen and it came our easily. Reverse all procedures to put new bulb in. Works like a champ!
Thank you for the video. I had just about given up replacing the headlight myself when I decided to check the web for help. Your video was exactly what I needed. Removing the washer spout was the trick that gave me success.
Thank You so much! My goodness was the passenger side difficult but I did get it done. FYI, it was much easier after I took the bar that holds the wiper fluid off. Be careful not to drop it inside the bumper. I had to use the grill tongs to get it out! SMH! Very thankful to you and your video. Women can be more independent if they are taught and not enabled!
Thank you so much for this! Just got through my change and without the heads up – it would have got ugly – Man there’s no room to work in there!!!
