I just bought a 2003 infinity I 35 and the blower was making a sound when I took it for a test drive. Figured it was a leaf or something because it sounded like a stick in the spokes. Told the guy to knock of $200 because I would need to take it to the shop to get it fixed. I knew it wouldn't be much to fix. That leaf you found might have been the problem but while your in there, might as well swap it out with a new one.

It was making a noise since i got the car in december of 2012. maxima's are great cars, i drive a tow ruck and i barely have to tow maxima's. only major repair i had to do on the car which left me stranded was a bad throw out bearing for the clutch. that goes bad from drives that hold the clutch down at lights to much…
