I got mine out of a 2001 qx4 in a junk yard for $20. Lol, been working for the last 5 years you should also change out your cabin air filter, that is why it over heats. Infinity qx4 and Nissan pathfinders are completely the same exact vehicle except the price and name tags.

Thanks for posting!!! The amp was my issue -fan on high all the time. $195 and 1/2 hr later and life is good!

Dan W says:

Sorry to hear. It is likely one of two things 1) Fan Control Amp (same issue) as it has a MOSFET in it and maybe it shorted closed so it is always ON, 2) is your A/C Auto Amp has failed. Do you have service manual you can look at (Page HA-60)? I have a used working Auto Amp if that is your problem. Cheap! You can always pull the fuse (drivers side) until you get it fixed.

Dan W says:

Assuming it is the fan control amp (Part # above or in link above) you can get it for $110 online (I like NissanParts CC) or $135 from your Nissan Dealership. Maybe even less if you go to a junk yard. I’m not sure you can find it at your normal parts store. If you need AC Auto Amp I can sell you mine cheap. I replaced it as well.
