I can understand. As much as these TV’s cost you don’t want to mess it up. But really, it is a very simple fix.

You’re right, that is a good idea! Luckily with this set all of the connectors were unique.
old geek tip use a different colored marker or tape to color code your connections or a number to match them

Yes, it did. The spots are all gone and the picture is as clean and crisp as the day I bought the TV.
