Where does that mounting bracket screw to? On the water pipe that you pulled the pump off of. My water pipe came out and I’m not sure why. I think the mounting bolt fell out
Thanks for the video! But one tip, never use grease to lube O-Rings, it sounds weird but the grease will dry it out. Use a little bit of Coolant instead.
Just had my timing done 100 miles ago, i regret forgetting to swap out the waterpump… it failed on me today
Thank You!!!
FYI, service manual says never put grease on the pump o-ring. Only water.
Do the threads on the water pump bolts require thread sealant? I’ve read that oil galleys pass behind those bolts on the Evo ix
Where is your source for torque specs?
No sealant on paper gasket ?
Do you have an oil pump remove and install video?
Can't wait for the timing belt video. Your very helpful! Keep up the good work
very nice, keep it up with this videos.
Is this motor stock ?
I'm collecting parts for a Clutch, Timing belt and water pump all in one shot. I just barely hit 56K on my evo 9.. planning it on around 60K
thanks for posting, great content
Do suggest doing the timing belt and water pump at the same time?
thanks for the vid. looking forward to the Belt replacement. I've watched Evo timing belt replacement vids before but I tend to like the way you break things down and explain them.
