I FIXED IT I had the same problem I read anything and everything i could find on why it wont turn on heard people try 2 and 3 different bulbs with no luck and thought i might have to put in a ballast. finally someone posted to get a genuine bulb not the cheap ones. I bought the philips brand bulb 915p061010 lamp Fired right up. Hope this helps someone Good luck
