Mitsubishi Mini Split [Install Timelapse]

Mitsubishi Mini Split [Install Timelapse]

Watch Addario’s Service Experts install a new Mitsubishi mini split system for one of our clients in Gloucester. This is a time-lapse of the mini split installation, with footage from throughout the One-Day Installation.

Our HVAC experts install the mini split head (known as an air handler) inside the client’s home, while the condenser unit (a “hyper” heat pump) is placed outside the home. Line sets are run between the two to transfer heat between the mini split head and the condenser unit.

You’ll also see our Electrical Department hook up all the wires between the two units, and tie in a power source to both. It is worth noting that Mini Splits are powered by electricity, and most jobs require an electric panel upgrade to function seamlessly. Our expert electricians conducted a panel upgrade and ran new power lines through the client’s home. While important, this part of the installation was not filmed due to the logistical constraints of the client’s home.

TECH SPECS:

The system installed is a Mitsubishi 12,000 BTU Hyper Heat single zone wall-mounted ductless air source heat pump system.

The Hyper Heat series was designed to provide comfortable temperatures in extreme cold-climate conditions (as low as -13 degrees Fahrenheit) while saving energy and money. It utilizes an exclusive inverter zoning system to deliver only the amount of hot air needed to achieve the desired temperature.

A platinum deodorizing filter use nanotechnology to absorb odors to neutralize the worst smells while an advanced multi-stage filter captures and removes contaminants that trigger allergy and asthma symptoms, spread illness and impact air quality.

The indoor wall-mounted unit operates as low as 19dB, quieter than a human whisper and the outdoor unit operates as low as 58dB – the level of a restaurant conversation or background music.
