Yes you do gain about 6-8 hp just because you’re going from a hose that
swells & fluctuate under load to a hard pipe that retains constant & steady
pressure. Most upper pipes are the same to install. This mod & a K&N drop
in filter plus new NGK spark plugs heat range 8 gave my 2009 Ralliart 16hp
@ 6400 rpm Dyno proven
