Hi, I have a WD 73740 model tv. When you turn the tv on the light is solid
green then it blinks red 6 times then yellow once. Then repeats the
red/yellow sequence. I have replaced the lamp and still it is the same. I
have sound but no picture. Any suggestions on what might be wrong? Thanks

@mark loyd, does it blink 6 times, and then 6 more times, to make your
blink code 66? If 66, it is telling you there is no bulb in the TV or the
connection between the ballast and the bulb it not connected properly. Do
this at your own risk. Please take a look and let us know what you find and
then we can recommend a fix. Thanks!

i have a wd60735..i cked the code it blinks 6 times
@Jordan martiello – This is an interesting problem…. I would make sure
that your wires connected to the lamp are not melting. This could also be
your main board acting up that could be causing this problem, however with
the smell you are getting and no image on the screen this makes me believe
it is the ballast and/or lamp. Let us know how the wires look, that are
connected to your lamp and we can try and help you get this resolved.

I have what seems to be a code 12, it blinks green once then two times. I
have already changed lamp and ballast, but still no pic unless I reset TV,
then it will work but if I turn off no picture again only sound
@alex2021969 – I would recommend replacing the lamp on your TV set.

I have HL-S5687WX/XAA,the green light (lamp) flashing 17 times, stops 2-3
sec then flashing 11 more times then shots off after few minutes. Do you

@jesswestcoast – If your TV indicator is steady red, that means your TV has
a lamp failure. I would recommend searching on our website with your TV
model number to find the appropriate replacement lamp. You can also give us

Mine is just a red blinking no yellow red all the time. It shuts off on me
then red blinks can u pls let me know the code for that one
