In this video we will show you how to connect and how to configure the Airzone-Mitsubishi Heavy communication gateway.

The Gateway is formed by 3 elements:
– A port to connect the Airzone system and a fixing post.
– A configuration microswitch.
– A connector for Mitsubishi Heavy units.

1. Turn off the power to your Airzone system and to your Mitsubishi Heavy unit.

2. Connect the gateway to the AC unit port of Airzone main board and secure it using the fixing post.

3. Next, connect the gateway to the X Y port of the Mitsubishi Heavy AC unit using a shielded cable. For proper operation of the communication gateway, do not disconnect the Mitsubishi Heavy thermostat from the AC unit

4. Once all the connections are successfully made, configure the microswitch if necessary. The gateway automatically detects the indoor unit fan speeds available.

5. Finally, it’s time to power the Airzone system and the Mitsubishi Heavy AC unit.
a) Then check all the LEDs of the gateway to verify if it operates properly:
-Power supply LED
-Microprocessor LED
-Communication LED (gateway-system)
-Communication LED (gateway-AC unit)

b) Once the Airzone system is configured, select any operating mode but STOP to generate thermal demand and check that the Mitsubishi Heavy controller receives commands from the Airzone system.
