I forgot to mention this system is extremely quiet. Also, This is a complete DIY System so the installation will be different from a typical installation. The lines come sealed and precharged. This may be hard to believe, but you don't need to vacuum the line. Please visit https://mrcooldiy.com/ to learn more.
This unit can be installed in any room. My work space is around 400sqf and I have this unit https://amzn.to/2Ci2uEN

Stix McGee says:

The air needs to be removed from the pipe work before releasing the refrigerant

aLUmIso says:

System will stop working in a couple years. Always need to pull a vacuum there is air in those lines. Just call a professional don't waste your money

james ryan says:

all mini splits are the same to say that this is the only one that u can do yourself is false a decent install for never doing this before but my god at least hire a an hvac guy to run a vacuum on the line set your making unit have hire pressures then needed and down the road your gonna have a bad expantion valve or compressor…

Cayanna P says:

Thanks so much. I want a mini split for my attic addition

Felicia McNair says:

Just ran across this video. This was a very intricate and detailed installation process. Looked pretty easy too. Just wanted to say thanks for sharing, you did an awesome job. I won't be doing this but I will share this video with folks who might need it. Thanks again.

Kenneth Pollard says:

My system leaves a water line stain on wall. Weird thing i never actually see water dripping.

Monir mridha says:

hi sir you did great job but I recommended about camera ….become disturb,,,, thankyou sir.

worldtraveler says:

110vt? NOPE. 220vt ONLY. Twice the volts uses HALF the amps. Cheaper to run.

Cool ❄️

kirk poff says:

You should have put a vacuum pump on it before you opened the valves !!

DTOM says:

great video, a couple, fairly significant steps were missed in this process. one is pressure checking the line set with nitrogen before opening the refrigerant valves. Not cost effective or environmentally considerate using the pre charged refrigerant for tight connections. 2, MAJOR STEP MISSED, a vacuum pump needs to be used in order to evacuate any atmospheric pollutants from the line set. Skipping this step could void the warranty and ultimately decrease the longevity of the system as a whole. Skipping this step is the equivalent to a surgeon not washing his hands before a procedure and failure to address this step is considered negligent practices in the eyes of most manufacturers, fyi. thanks

Joe L says:

Nice neat instal

Frank Hodgson says:

Great Job , Thank You.

Rick Marshall says:

I put mine in, does 750 sq foot addition, biggest challange was my unit was 18K BTUs, so I need a 240 line.

Loran Kowallis says:

I’m also looking for a split mini for my small trailer in Arizona. I need a system that can cool about 1,200ft2

Loran Kowallis says:

At 6:36 … just a small tip to help pull the wire through the liquidtite, use some (ideal)wire lube. This will make a great big difference when pushing or pulling wire. I once pulled a 10/3 wire through 88 feet of 1”poly sprinkler pipe to feed my outdoor pump house.

jay fox says:

That too much work bro.

Hali Moto says:

As a licensed HVAC tech this video is good for a laugh.

Morgan Madej says:

I really enjoyed the quality video, with an intelligent storyline without any fluff as well as the very good post production. A completely absorbing video with plenty of close up's, all in clear focus with a detailed commentary. I'll have to find out if Mr Cool is available in the European Union, Amazon UK or Germany? The 25ft of the piping might be a problem, but not insurmountable! Thank you for providing this Cool video!

Ken Dawa says:

I noticed your install blocked your security camera.

Para Dux says:

Also were is that triple evacuation with dry nitrogen ?

Para Dux says:

Those must be really small copper lines. Because in the video they look like they bend like vinyl tube.
