Great video, I’m still to scared to do this myself though 🙁 I need someone

of people buy walbro fuel pumps

EVOVIIMEL says:

Awesome Video man ,recommend getting the whole kit not just the pump..once
the assembly is out you don’t wanna run to buy a filter or washers just in
case.never had any issues with Genuine GSS342 on EVO VII VIII Ive done so
far

Hi. I have the 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer ES Wagon (GDI 4G93). It keeps losing
power anytime I hit anything close to 2,000rpm. I did some diagnosis and it
turned out that the fuel pressure pump was losing pressure each time I hit
the gas pedal. Can you help? Is it a different kinda problem or does this
video address it? Thank you.

Dustin Suitts says:

Thanks for the vid!!

Zachary Palmer says:

I was thinking the same thing. But if the duty cycle and pulse width of the
injectors are the same you would imagine no right?

tefather says:

@maxboy01ae Should be fine, but I’d be looking to do the install right
before getting your tuning conducted

maniac978 says:

@ricktryharder I didnt know what the heck i was doing.. this video is
literally “someone to hold your hand”. I had no knowledge of how to do
this.. this video helped me get it done in 1.5 hours. but i highly recomend
1/4 tank of gas or less before doing this.. i did it on a full tank like a
dummy .. lol. but i got it done.. good luck to you.

WhiteBoyBoostFreak says:

Put the old one back in lol

Andrés Cárdenas says:

I Changed mi fuel pump, in order to get less noise and replacing it with an
original one. Then my car didn’t start for abour 5 or 6 attemps, the it
started but it doesn’t keep tunning, and I cannont go over 1500 rpm, the
result is I cannot use my car, could you give me some adivises please,
thank u!

Please recommend using a rag when your disconnecting hoses with fuel, and
pressure…

Kozanatos says:

Genius, with a pretty full tank of gas too! YAY, lets all die!!!!

Boostd4 says:

Great vid, although if you’re doing a FP you may want to stick a new filter
on there.

scorpioiscool says:

Fuel pump located on driver side? is it still on the drive side For a
Japanese evo 8?

Andrew Rides says:

Sounds like a nasty fuel filter to me.

J Courtoreille says:
