JaMziy Toyota says:

mine done the same but in a 93 camry

LukeVader77 says:

Thanks, I’ll try to get my hands on some parts and try this out, or take it
to the dealer to get it fixed if I can’t.

lovesugarshow says:

I found a full kit and it costs $42 on ebay

Trong Hoang says:

Does the part 7801A110 fit with Mitsubishi Lancer 2002 ?

Michael Nunnari says:

Where do you get the genuine Mitsubishi parts from?

Heather G says:

Hi I watched your video on how to change the nobs on your car. I have a
2009 Toyota Corolla and the air is stuck on the highest setting. I was
wondering if you knew what it was called – i think it’s just the wire that
needs replaced, and I want to do it myself. I fixed it before but I rigged
it, so I want to fix it properly. I also have a tedious time turning fro
foot to defrost (that nob). i guess my question is, can you change the
wires inside that are broken or do you have to change the entire unit with
the knobs and everything? Any way you can help would be great!

Rafael Ruiz Valenzuela says:

Thanks for your video! Do you know if this also works for a outlander
2003?

djmstr5391 says:

Great video! Very informative, do you have a recommended place to buy the
parts? I need to replace my knob as well, the whole head unit online is
$100+ that to me seems outrageous for the head unit itself.

NurseZee says:

I did the same thing! Did you ever find the part? I just lost it today, and
I cant find a place that sells it, or even knows what Im talking about! Did
you find the part number?

Dorian Fuentes says:

Just FYI..it works on Lancers 2004…I replaced mine and works wonders!!
Thank you for the video!!!

Meaghan McCarthy says:

Thank you, thank you, thank you! It’s 103 today and I was able to fix my
a/c this afternoon!

johnd651 says:

i found this part number 7801A360 and 7801A110… i am not sure which one
has the correct parts for the fix

EVO Bluebyyou says:

You guys have the part numbers?

blackjackh5 says:

Great video were did u get the new parts from tho and how much??

TexasFan1433 says:

This video saved me hundreds … we fixed the heater! Thanks so much!!!!!

rayisnumbaone says:

thanks for the video! Been searching for days on a how-to.

Wiz ard says:

Could you please post all the part numbers that were used to fix this
issue? Thanks!

evo20031 says:

Thanks For the Information! You guys rock and roll!!!

David Martin says:

My knob also broke off, how can I get a new knob and shaft? is there a
website?

Carol Bandow says:

I want to thank you so much for this video! Thanks for save me tons of
money!

grotbagz74 says:

Very nice, I only wanted to adjust the heater to blow warm air as winter is
now upon us; this video enabled me to do so in about 30 seconds flat.

Boosted Films says:

pause at 1:13 – 7801A110 and MR979515

Danny mazzola says:

Where did you buy the parts?

Armand deBlouwe says:

Thanxxx. When all else fails, Youtube and its brilliant members save the
day. 😉

kurojin97 says:

Nice….now can you make a video showing how to fix the airflow/ventilation
gear??

classicalgarse says:

I did the same thing. Did you happen to find the part for it? I can’t
figure out what it is.

Astr0Zombeh says:

Does anyone know if this will work on the 04 ralliart? or any 04 lancer?
you would think that they would have already shipped out 04 lancers with
that fix. Just don’t want to spend the money if i will be buying the same
parts i already have.

kooliotbone says:

Make sure you don’t turn the big knob the shaft connects to because then
you are going to have to figure out what position it needs to be in for the
correct heat setting.

1thisbeme23 says:

Why didn’t u just change the cable?

Boris Alves says:

Did anyone find a way to replace the white knob element? I have not been
able to fix it. Thanks for the video

Boosted Films says:

I would take a look at the gears under the dash, turn the knob both ways
and see if it moves. If it does move, you most likely just need your A/C
recharged. If it doesn’t move, try moving the gears by hand and see if that
works.

BoostedImportGods says:

My Mode selector was also goofed. This video helped bring my MacGyver
skills out and i was able to fix that, just by looking at which way the
cable was pointing 🙂 Now I need to get these gears so i can fix my
temperature selector too!

Boosted Films says:

If you broke the shaft the knob goes on, unfortunately, you will need to
buy the whole new center control piece.

sforist says:

Good video, nice job.

Adriano0917 says:

Your car is gonna fall apart! Your missing a lot of bolts lol

JOHNJULIO111592 says:

would this be the reason that my heat won’t work? It only blows out cool air

Basel Yousef says:

Nice….I had the same problem with the rotation of the heat control. I saw
this video a month ago and when I checked under the dash, it was all clear.
I did order a new set of gears and just fix it :)…. I am so happy,
because I was so close to order a new heat control which is around a $200!
And the problem would remain! Thanks for this video! Regards from Bulgaria.

gpjornacion123 says:

Where did you buy the parts? Will it work in 2004 Ralliart 2.4L? I saw it
on ebay but it does not have the black wire that you have in the video just
the 2 gears. Hope you answer my question! Thanks!

johnd651 says:

the one ending in 110 has the gears and the cable # is MR979515
