Hi, do you know where is the filter located in Mitsubishi Galant 1993?
The 2004 Galant should take our AQ1060 filter. We have an installation on a Prius that should be similar That can be seen by searching: 7sRD5xyOgP8l on YouTube. I can’t find particular information on any small differences the Galant might have but this should be almost the same.
Does anyone know if the Galant 2004 has a filter? if so, is it in the same place?
It looks like the 2007 Eclipse does not come equipped with a cabin air filter.

Have a problem, my 03 eclipse does not have emm.. ( the two thing on the air cabin, the things that u put it out to get the air cabin) its only one piece, like no replacement cabin wtf?

Funny part is that they still make a filter for it. I bought one that is designated for the 2006 Eclipse – one of many reason I have littel good to say about MItsubishi or the 2006 Eclipse
So I have the same car as this video does and when you get to the 55 second mark. My car just has plastic in that from that won’t come out.
When Mitsubishi made the model change in ’06 they took the cabin filter out of the Eclipse.
i have a mitsubishi eclipse 2009 and i cant get the the plastic in the back of the glovebox

Although every car was made with this housing, only some trim levels have the cover separated from the housing so that it can accept a filter. We don’t know why, sorry.

Gotcha. My gf has a 2004 Eclipse GT Spyder. She said Midas told her to replace the cabin filter, so I followed your excellent guide, but behind the glovebox where you removed the 2 filter screws, hers has no screws. I tried pulling and it wouldn’t come out. Maybe it’s stuck in there pretty tight? I’ll try again later, but not sure why the screws wouldn’t be there if there are holes for them…
It usually depends on the trim level that you get when you purchase the car. For example, the RS might not have the filter accessible but the GTS might. Sometimes it’s also a dealer installed option.
Why would some cars have removable filter and others sealed?! I don’t get it.
The 2006 Eclipse doesn’t normally come with a filter housing and cover, however there seems to be a kit you can buy from the dealer that can be installed in your car. Either way the plastic would have to be cut, however you would need the kit to install a filter after cutting the plastic.
In your vehicle is sealed it means that it doesn’t have a filter.
Mine is also sealed up , no screws and i cant pull out the darn thing , i guess I will have to cut it , aint getting charge 60 bucks for something easy as it looks .
