Hey Chris I got the Same noise with my tranny did u ever figure out what it
was. And yes every time I push in the clutch and hold it,the noise will go
away
I have yet to work on an automatic transmission, but I believe it requires
the same steps. The only difference would be the parts. Manual
transmissions have clutches, a throw out bearing, and clutch fork in the
bell housing. All the steps should be similar, if not the same, in
disassembly. Do your homework, read up on the forums if you run into any
problems. Let me know how it works out for you, and good luck!

Sweet man, glad I could help! There are only 4 bolts that hold the modular
clutch to the flywheel. Very straight forward removal and installation.

When my transmission breaks down again, haha. But really, it’s quite
simple. All you have to do is the reverse of what you did to remove the
transmission. I’m thinking about making a video of how to replace the
headgasket; since I’m looking to buy a “new” used head to build.
