Thank you this got me off the water today. The wire just came lose at the connection in my case, but this showed me where to look. I really appreciate you putting this video up.
This tip just saved my day… Same thing happened to me, motor got stuck down and all 3 switches would only work going down… Jumped to the starter and up she went! Thanks!

Ours wouldn't go up but it'd go down. Reversed the wires on the battery and it went up
