This Steve’s Garage video covers how to replace the brake light bulb on a 08-10 Mercury Mariner. The car in the video is a 2010 Mercury Mariner, but it will work for any second generation Mariner.

Be careful when removing the brake light on your 08-10 Mercury Mariner because there is a chance you can break a small tab on the light. If you do break it, it doesn’t seem to be an issue, as the light will still securely mount to the Mercury Mariner. Overall this is a very simple fix, and the only tool you need is a phillips head screwdriver.
