I installed one on my verado at the helm thru the smartcraft junction box and noticed that the power and bluetooth light are on all the time, even with batteries in off position. Is this normal?

I think is better not to mount it exposed but well you do get to see the status light.
I used a small chisels, and LARGE hammer to drive mine on. Then I cut off the excess wires??? Travis, I PROMISE not to tell your wife how much this shit costs. LOL… Your stuff is way TOO fancy. I got a 90-hp Yamaha NO bells or whistles. NICE JOB..
