So, theres no torque specs? Just tighten to whatever a person thinks is good?
Gotta keep the music in the background, my guy. Good info, but you don't need any music, let alone a track that is louder than your voice.
This is exactly the video that I was looking for! My grand marquis steering feels super sensitive at highway speeds. I've replaced pretty much the whole front steering & suspension. Someone on a forum with the same problem said a rear sway bar helped with the issue. Have you noticed any change in stability at around 65+ mph?
Great video. Very clear and concise. Thanks for showing this to us.
Thanks for the video.
just did this on my crown victoria handles so much better now can take a turn without the car sliding around corners or feeling like it will tip over go check mine out on my channel
Just what I needed to watch and Damn good camera work.
Should of gotten a bigger diameter swaybar.
Nice . in a marauder . not going to change it just yet but they do need some fresh bushings for sure.
Thanks for the video, ordering my sway bar kit today. I'm doing the dual exhaust mod on my Marquis, bought the walker H pipe for about $60, left tailpipe for about $55, right tailpipe is about the same cost, but mine is in great shape, so I'm going to use it. I bought two AP Xlerator stainless mufflers for $70 [for both]. I watched a lot of videos on here to find the sound I wanted and the AP Xlerator mufflers fit, not loud, just a little something to know they are there. If you would like part numbers, let me know. Thanks again!
next, swap out that weak single exhaust for a P71 Crown Vic Dual exhaust system.
They look so freakin awesome under that axle….I put one on my 06 CS and duel exhaust….its like jewelry….
Two leftover bolts correct lol
Thanks for the video. You covered everything and explained it well. A couple suggestions. 1) lose the music 2) talk a little louder. Thanks again. BTW love the sound of little ones in the background. Something I miss since mine are grown….
That's a nice watch to wear while doing this
Awesome video. Did you notice much of a difference after?
Cool vid. Well done. Thank You.
I have this in my 2010 Mercury.
My town car already came with that. Thinking about upgrading to a thicker set front and rear. Right now still feels real sloppy at times.
My car already had a bar, but this will also apply to the ADTR/Addco big rear sway bar. HIGHLY recommend the ADTR sway bar. Makes the stock look absolutely puny and the handling difference is night and day. Love it.
Well done. Thanks!
Thanks for this video! I used to drive an 01 Crown Vic with the handling and performance package. Now I drive an 09 Grand Marquis LS. The Grand Marquis always handled like crap when going over a pothole or driving at high speeds 85 miles an hour + after driving it that way for a year-and-a-half. I watched this video and head the aha moment. Thank you so much!
Great job! I need to do this on the Grand Marquis.
Great with step by step instructions and super helpful
There are several rear bar thickness choices. With stock springs, stock 15mm bar is best. If going for handling with CVPI springs, go with 17mm bar. 21mm HPP bar is also a good match for CVPI springs and shocks.
Super helpful, easy to see , great instructions thank you !
