Mmm thanks but you did not comment on what location the shift shaft cam should be you pointed to it right at the 8:15 minute mark (reverse lock). What position must this be? The other think I could not quite make out the neutral location via the throttle linkage . Can you please help with both these items, thanks.
Thanks for the informative video. I always heard doesn't matter if it is F – N – R as long as both are the same. I was struggling using forward and it wouldn't go. 1976 merc. 850, tried the neutral line up with the water jacket bolts and slipped right in the first time. Thank you again.
You started the video with one engine when indoor, then switched to a different engine when outdoor. Different engines with different mechanics.
