I got a 04 Marquis and it just started misfiring in one cylinder so I will be replacing them all to save myself a headache later, Great video. Trip to harbor freight on payday.
Now you see why so many people buy these Ford Crown Victorias/Mercury Grand Marquis's. The ease of performing routine maintenance is about as easy as you can get on modern day cars. I never wanted to drive a thirsty V8 but sometimes it can be offset by the low cost of ownership.
Great video! However 8 to 10 ft/lb is not enough because these engines like to spit spark plugs when not torqued properly due to the small amount of threads in the heads. 20 to 25 ft/lb is a much safer range.
Great job! Last weekend I replaced the high pressure line going from the power steering pump, to the steering rack, on my XJ40. It has fixed its biggest incontinence problem. Happy fix!
