Hey im having issues replacing a spark plug and i dont want to take it to a mechanic over one. The old spark plug is cylinder #4 and all the metal on that one spark plug is all morphed and i cannot get it out. The socket cant even get a grip. What do i do?
what about the ones in the back. on my 99 cougar there's like Six in the back
I usually just loosen the UIM and it gives enough room to get an extension with a wobble joint behind to change the back 3.
you know you dont need to do all that to change spark plugs and spark plug wires. its time consuming. there is a faster way. i do it all the time
hey man I don't know much about cars but I was hoping you could help me with something. I have a 2000 mercury cougar and recently the check engine light came on for an "under performing catalyst" which I replaced with a brand new one but a few days later the light came on again for the same thing? so what do you think is going on with my car?
thanks in advance
What brand of UIM gasket is that?
